📁 Drive — Bulk Actions, Archive & Sharing (New Feature)

Select many files at once: Checkboxes in list and grid views let you pick up to 25 files and folders, with Select All and a running count
Act on the whole batch: Move, download, archive, restore, or delete everything you've selected in one pass
Archive instead of delete: Get a file or folder out of your way without losing it, and restore it whenever you need it. A new "Archived" section in the Drive sidebar collects it all
Your archive is yours: Archiving a shared file only hides it from your view, never from your teammates'
Share with the right people: Set any file or folder to Private, everyone in the cloud, or specific people — with view or edit access for each person
Rename after upload: Fix the name of any file or folder, and the new name updates everywhere instantly
Export markdown files: Save any markdown file as HTML, PDF, Image, Markdown, or Word
Edit without previewing first: Open a markdown file straight into the editor
Big batches are faster: A 25-item move or delete finishes noticeably quicker, and selecting a folder along with files inside it no longer causes "not found" errors

🛠️ Skills — Upload, Auto Descriptions & Ownership

Upload a skill instead of building it: Drop a zip file, or a single skill file, into Drive → Skills and it works in chat just like one you wrote yourself
Details filled in for you: The uploader reads the skill's name and description, shows how many extra files came along and how big they are, and tells you if anything was skipped
Choose who sees it as you upload: Make a skill personal or share it with your cloud, right from the upload dialog
Descriptions written for you: Save a skill without a description and we write a one-sentence summary for you
Skills leave more room for your work: Brie reads a short summary of your active skills instead of the full instructions, so using one leaves more room for the conversation itself
Only the creator can rename, hide, or delete: Other people's skills are view-only for you, and a note tells you who to ask — editing shared skill content still works as before
Cleaner editing: Edit mode has explicit Save and Cancel, empty files open ready to type, and creating a skill drops you straight into it
Skill names with punctuation work: `/MySkill.` and `/MySkill,` now match the skill
Web search turns on with skills: Skills often need current information, so using one turns on web search for that message
A real chat name from a skill: Starting a chat with just `/SkillName` now gets a meaningful title
Helpful empty state: The `/` menu tells you when you have no skills yet and links to Skills settings

💳 Plans & Billing (Improvement)

More plans to choose from: A redesigned plans page with a wider range of plans, so you can pick one that matches how much you use Emerge AI
Change your plan without leaving the app: Plan switching now lives in Settings → Billing → Plans, and you stay right where you are through payment — immediate switches confirm your new plan with a receipt emailed, scheduled ones tell you the date the change lands
What every paid plan includes, listed once: A grouped list covering AI, workflow, privacy, and mobile — so each plan card can focus on what makes it different
Know which card you're charging: The switch screen names the card you'll be charged, with a link to change it — and if a card is declined, it tells you so and takes you to billing
Payment links land on the right plan: A shared payment link carries you through sign-in and cloud selection and opens on the plan you clicked
One account, one usage pool: AI usage is a single weekly pool shared across all your clouds — adding clouds doesn't add usage
Your usage resets when you upgrade: Upgrading clears your usage right away, so you start on the new allowance immediately
Tell us why you're leaving: Cancelling or downgrading to Free asks for a reason and optional feedback

📊 Usage Limits Are Easier to Live With (Improvement)

Never locked out: Every paid plan includes Emerge Fast & Free, so reaching your limit switches you to it and your chat keeps going — no popup, and a note tells you when your other models come back
Know where you stand: A usage meter in Settings shows how much of your daily and weekly AI capacity you've used, and when it resets
Locked features explain themselves in place: A small "Unlock File Uploads" note on the control itself, rather than a full-screen interruption
Brie tells you when it needs an upgrade: If your plan doesn't include something like web search or image generation, you hear about it instead of quietly getting less
Keep your custom models after a downgrade: You can always see and delete models you've already added

🎫 Seats & Limits (Improvement)

See your seats at a glance: Member management and the subscription page show "3 of 10 seats" used, plus how many are left across your subscription
Clear about what counts: Re-adding someone who already belongs to the subscription doesn't use up a seat
Removing people frees their seat: Removing someone from a cloud, or deleting a cloud, releases their seat instead of leaving it counted
Downgrades no longer lock you out: Over your member limit? You can still create clouds and move existing members between them — only brand-new people are blocked
More detail on each cloud: Your subscription's cloud list shows each cloud's owner and member count
Rename and delete your own cloud: Clouds previously locked as "personal" can now be renamed or deleted by their owner or an admin

🗂️ Project Descriptions, Tags & Permissions

Describe and tag your projects: Add a description and tags when you create a project or later in its settings, so your team can tell projects apart
Search finds them: Search matches on descriptions and tags, and both show on result cards and project home
Details in the sidebar: A project's description, tags, and created and updated dates
Owners stay in control: Only the owner can delete a project, and only owners and admins can change its tags
Saved in one go: Tag changes save along with the rest of your edits

⚡ A Faster Sidebar (Improvement)

Chats and projects load a page at a time: Opening a cloud with thousands of chats no longer waits on the whole list — more load as you scroll
Pinned items always on top: However old they are
Archived items stay out of the way: Archived chats and projects no longer crowd the list

✅ Tasks Is Out of Beta

Available to everyone: Tasks no longer needs beta access — it's in the toolbar for all users
No phantom "Refreshing" label: It shows only during background refreshes, not while your list is loading the first time

🔐 Sign-In, Terms & Passwords

Confirm your age and accept the terms: Creating an account now includes confirming you're 18 or older and accepting the Terms of Service
See how strong your password is as you type: Requirement checks, a Weak / Medium / Strong indicator, and a live "Match" on confirm fields — during registration, reset, and password changes
Told sooner if you already have an account: You find out right after the email step, not after filling in everything else
Sign in on the homepage: The separate login page is gone — you sign in right where you land
No more login popup: An expired session or a connector needing re-authorization sends you to the sign-in screen and back to exactly where you were
Logging out keeps you on the same environment: Sign-out, "log out of all devices", and account deletion no longer send you to a different site

🤖 New AI Models

Four new models join the picker this release, all with web search support:

Claude Sonnet 5: Stronger reasoning and coding that holds up across long conversations — a great everyday default
Claude Opus 4.8: Anthropic's most capable model, for the most complex, multi-step work
Gemini 3.6 Flash: Google's newest fast model, with their best search and grounding yet — and cheaper to run than Gemini 3.5 Flash, so it stretches your allowance further
Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite: Google's most cost-efficient model, for high-volume work like translation and bulk cleanup — the lightest option on your allowance
Room to work: The Gemini models can take in around 750,000 words at once and the Claude models around 150,000 — plenty for long documents and long conversations

🌐 Website Refresh

A homepage built around what every plan includes: Five feature columns — Never Locked Out, AI Choice, Data Privacy + Security, Collective Intelligence, and Cost Transparency — plus a link to compare all plans. Fully translated in English, Spanish, and Japanese
Products menu in the navbar: A new Products dropdown covers Emerge.ai, Simba, Nala, and Leona, and Solutions now points to Private AI, Edge AI, and AI First Thinking
Support opens the real support page: Support links everywhere now open emerge.inc/support in a new tab

🧩 Chat with Apps (New Feature, Beta)

Bring an app into the conversation: Type `@@AppName` to add one of your cloud's installed apps — Brie can then use its data and tools for the rest of the conversation
Turn apps on and off per chat: A new Apps tab in the chat members panel lets you decide what Brie can reach in each conversation
See what's attached: Attached apps show as removable badges above the input and next to member avatars in the chat header
Watch Brie create records: A live card shows what Brie is creating, then gives you a link to open the finished record — and tells you what's missing instead of guessing

🔎 Discovery — AI Prospecting (New Feature, Beta)

Describe your ideal customer in plain English: Type something like "VPs of Customer Experience at US insurance companies" and Discovery finds real, matching people — no filter forms
Results stream in as they're ready: Each prospect appears the moment it's done instead of waiting for the whole batch, and you can stop any time and keep what's come back
Every prospect gets a fit score: A 0–100 score and a call-priority label tell you who to dial first, and expand to explain why
Ready-to-use call briefing: A short WHO / WHY / HOOK / ASK briefing and an opening angle, so you can call without prepping
Save to your CRM in one click: Add prospects as Leads one at a time or in bulk, save a search to run again later, and manage it all in the Leads and Deals workspaces

🔌 NetSuite Connector (New Feature, Beta)

Ask Brie about your NetSuite data: Customers, vendors, invoices, sales orders, employees, and items, all in chat — and for anything the standard lookups miss, Brie can look it up directly, read-only, so nothing in your account changes
Admin sets it up once, everyone signs in: An owner or admin registers your organization's NetSuite account once, then each person connects their own login
Rotate or remove credentials any time: Owners and admins can update or delete the setup, with a warning that everyone will need to reconnect — and only the admin who registered it can make changes
Clear setup errors: Each problem gets its own explanation, and anyone who isn't an admin is told who to ask

🔗 Connector Improvements (Beta)

HubSpot — tasks and meetings from chat: Create, view, update, and delete HubSpot tasks and meetings as you talk, with meetings landing at the right time in your timezone
HubSpot — work with lists: Read and create contact lists and add or remove contacts from them
HubSpot — deal history and email status: Ask for a deal's recent activity, or whether a contact is subscribed to your marketing emails
Asana — priority, status, and links: Set a task's priority, read and update a project's On track / At risk / Off track status, and get a direct link to every task you create
Connecting is more reliable: Authorizing, reconnecting, and disconnecting all work dependably

👥 Contacts & Companies Improvements (Beta)

Your edits stick: Contact and company edits save reliably, including phone and mobile numbers
Open a contact from a link or a refresh: Both now show the right fields instead of a blank page, with a wider two-column layout on desktop
Tags right on the record: Edit tags inline with a searchable picker and create-as-you-type, up to 10 per record — and table cells show as many as fit plus a "Show N more" toggle
Room for more numbers: Companies support up to 3 phone numbers

🐛 Bug Fixes

Decide what happens to files when you move a chat: Moving a chat or project to another cloud now gives you three clear choices — bring the files along, leave them in this cloud's Drive, or delete them — and each one spells out exactly what it will do
Drive fixes: Opening Share on a file that already has collaborators works, and items removed along with a deleted folder show their real name and file type
Skills fixes: Files nested inside a skill's subfolders open reliably, and an interrupted import tidies up after itself
Chat fixes: You can edit a message while Brie is still typing, uploads up to 100 MB go through, and YouTube Shorts links are analyzed like any other YouTube link
A mistyped cloud address says so: A wrong cloud address now shows "Cloud Not Found" instead of failing silently
See who owns the account: Cloud General Settings shows the owner's name above their email, without flashing the wrong state after a refresh
Marking notifications read works across clouds: Clearing notifications that span several clouds no longer errors out
Record access: Owner-only records can only be deleted by their owner, and being left off a collaborator list no longer locks you out of a record you created
Projects with no members load fine: A missing member list no longer breaks the sidebar's project list
Failed payments don't half-apply a plan change: A declined card rejects the change outright instead of appearing to succeed
Plan changes stay consistent: With a cancellation scheduled, plan buttons wait until you undo it, and choosing a subscription while creating a cloud no longer resets your selection
Layout and readability fixes: Plan cards collapse to one column on small screens without the "Current" badge overlapping, the mobile settings sidebar closes after you tap a link, the "…" for extra members is legible, GrowthEvents invitation emails read clearly against their dark background, contact email links open safely in a new tab, and the release-notes notice has a close button
